It is included in general admission to the museum. \nFirst\, in this career-inspiring experience\, children and adults alike will discover the stories of real-life women who broke barriers in their fields\, and the people who supported them along their journey. After learning about the achievements of these trailblazers\, visitors can get an up-close look at Barbie dolls created in their likeness. Also\, exhibit encourages visitors of all generations to reflect on the challenges and accomplishments of these memorable women\, as well as their own life experiences\, and continue the inspiration through imaginative role play with Barbie. \nAdditionally\, over the past 65+ years\, Barbie has represented more than 250 careers\, inspiring generations to dream big. This exhibit offers kids the opportunity to explore the vast range of careers as well as what role type best fits their own interests and aspirations. \nNext\, careers explored in the exhibition include but are not limited to: \n\nPresident\nPilot\nFilm director\nWildlife photographer\nChef\nArchaeologist\nRobotics coder\nConstruction\nVeterinarian\nAnd more!\n\nLastly\, this exhibit was produced by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in partnership with Mattel\, Inc. Discover how ecosystems stay balanced\, explore food chains and symbiotic relationships\, learn about coral reefs\, and uncover fascinating facts about the fish swimming just a few feet away. \nAbove the new exhibits\, a suspended art installation of schooling fish brings movement and color to the space\, creating a new photo-worthy feature within the gallery. \nWhether you’re identifying relationships between species\, learning how energy moves through an ecosystem\, or simply enjoying a quiet moment watching the fish\, Oceanarium offers a deeper look at the connections that keep our natural world thriving. \nOceanarium is included with general admission and membership.
