Fall Break Camps

October 14 & 15

School might be out, but the learning doesn't have to stop! Science Museum Oklahoma offers fall break camps for Oklahoma City metro families. 

Early Explorers (pre-K and kindergarten), Explorers (grades 1-3) and Innovators (grades 4-6) will have a fall break to remember with hands-on activities, live science demonstrations, and exploring the awesome power of science!

CAMP FAQ

Hours and Tuition

In-person camps for Early Explorers (Pre-K and Kindergarten) are from 9 a.m. to noon and are $50 per camper for members and $60 for non-members.

In-person camps for Explorers (Grades 1-3) and Innovators (Grades 4-6) are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are $100 for members and $110 for non-members.

Health, Safety and Masks

Masks: We ask that your camper wear a cloth or paper mask, and bring an additional mask each day. Your camper’s teacher will be wearing a cloth mask and/or face shield during the camp day depending upon the activity and proximity to campers. 

Snacks and Lunch

Early Explorers should bring a snack for each day of camp.

Explorers and Innovators should bring to bring a lunch and a snack for each day of camp.

In light of COVID-19, we ask that food items be in packaging your child can easily open without assistance so that camp staff don't need to touch your child's food.

Available Space and Registration

Camps are limited to 15 children for Early Explorers (pre-K and kindergarten) and 15 children for Explorers and Innovators (grades 1-6).

Camps are marked "Limited Space Available" when less than five spaces remain and as "Sold Out" when full. If your preferred camp is sold out, please contact Guest Relations at (405) 602-3760 to be placed on our waiting list.

Registration closes the Monday before each camp or when full. Camp registration is updated frequently, however if you are concerned your preferred camp may sell out, please contact Guest Relations at (405) 602-3760 for the most up to date availability.

A completed Camper Information Packet is required for each camper. Forms are available for download at the bottom of this page.

Pets Unleashed
Puppies, kittens, turtles, and hamsters – some pets jump, others have scales and some pets even fly! We love our animal friends so much! We will be exploring all the wonderful things about our best friends’ fins, feathers and fur and why each pet was born with such special features. Our youngest campers are sure to make fur-ever friends over the fun-filled two days!

Pirate Adventure
Are you ready for an epic quest? Get ready to use your wits, your curiosity and your sense of adventure to release your inner pirate! You’ll use code-breaking, engineering and a host of other skills as you unlock the mysteries that lead to hidden treasure. There is a lot to be explored in just two days as you decipher clues, build crazy devices and explore the unknown. This camp is not for timid landlubbers but only for the bold of mind and spirit!

Innovators (Grades 4-6)

Innovators (Grades 4-6) are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are $100 per camper for members and $110 for non-members. Class size is limited to 15 children.

Engineering the Future
What if you designed houses for Mars? Or designed the world’s fastest car? Or created a battery that could power an entire city for just pennies? Engineers harness the power of science to solve problems and create a better world. We’ll take a deep dive into various fields of engineering to learn how each one uses creativity and science to spark innovation. This camp is for the dreamers and problem-solvers who have unlimited imagination and a vision for the future.
