The Real Sky: The Leo Trio

This week in The Real Sky, we're off to see a trio of galaxies in the constellation of Leo through Science Museum Oklahoma Kirkpatrick Planetarium Tom Arnold's home telescope!

Galaxies M65, M66, and NGC 3628, known as the Leo Triple, are hundreds of thousands of light years apart — although that's an enormous distance, in cosmic terms these galaxies are pretty close and seem to interact with one another. What happens when galaxies interact and even collide? Watch to find out!
