Science Museum Oklahoma is proud to announce the reopening of Mighty Mouth, one of the museum’s most iconic and beloved exhibitions. The revitalized exhibition was made possible by a generous gift from Delta Dental of Oklahoma and its Foundation and will officially open on Monday, Feb. 23 with a “floss cutting” at 1 pm.

Originally introduced in 1987, Mighty Mouth has welcomed more than 10 million visitors. It has inspired generations of young scientists to learn about oral health through hands-on exploration. The refreshed Mighty Mouth blends nostalgia with new interactive experiences. Additionally, it focuses on prevention, healthy habits and understanding what is happening inside our mouths.

The updated Delta Dental Mighty Mouth at Science Museum Oklahoma offers engaging content for all ages. It features a wide range of interactive experiences. For example, a flossing station, an interactive smile photo wall, a mouth washing activity, a braces station where guests can practice straightening teeth, and more. Additional highlights include touchscreen interactives, matching challenges, and the return of the exhibit’s famous giant teeth.
