DiscoverFest at Science Museum Oklahoma
A Free Day of Discovery Formerly Known as Tinkerfest
Stay tuned for the 2027 date!
DiscoverFest is a free, full-day celebration of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on discovery. Held at Science Museum Oklahoma, this community-powered event invites guests of all ages to build, create, invent, and explore through dozens of interactive experiences.
Guests can design machines to tinker with art, engineering, and raw materials. There’s something to ignite every imagination! With the support of more than 40 community partners, past DiscoverFests have featured over 70 activities—plus access to the museum’s permanent exhibits.
Whether you’re a tinkerer, maker, artist, or just curious, DiscoverFest is a one-of-a-kind experience where science meets creativity and everyone gets to play.
DiscoverFest is proudly presented by lead sponsor OG&E, with generous support from Boeing, the Philip Boyle Foundation, Carter Chevrolet, Norman Air, and many incredible community partners helping to ensure expanding access to STEAM education access across Oklahoma.
