Science Museum Oklahoma is ringing in New Years with Noon Year’s Eve, a community tinkering and crafting project that concludes with a homemade float-filled parade.

The crafting commences when Science Museum Oklahoma opens on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 9 a.m. and the parade kicks off just before noon. The Noon Year’s Eve activities are included in the cost of admission to Science Museum Oklahoma.

“Noon Year’s Eve is the perfect opportunity for families to get out and spark creativity and innovation during the school break,” said Sherry Marshall, CEO of Science Museum Oklahoma. “Each year, the floats get more imaginative, and we can’t wait to see the amazing creations our guests bring to life this time!”

After years of the festivities, Noon Year’s Eve has become a museum tradition and a favorite for families in Oklahoma City.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their imaginations. Supplies can be brought by guests and are also supplied by Science Museum Oklahoma to craft floats for the parade.
