Science Museum Oklahoma’s biggest event of the year is back with a free day of exploring and tinkering. DiscoverFest, formerly known as Tinkerfest, will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2020 Remington Place in Oklahoma City. This all-day event is free and open to the public, transforming the entire museum and grounds into a playground for curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning.

While attendee pre-registration is not available yet, Science Museum Oklahoma is seeking companies, clubs, and creators to join more than 50+ community partners who bring hands-on STEAM to life by hosting an activity based on their field of work, hobby, or expertise. Apply here: smo.org/volunteer
