Empower your middle and high school students to think and act like scientists and engineers! This session will explore strategies and hands-on experiences for engaging students with the science and engineering practices and crosscutting concepts outlined in the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Science. Discover practical approaches to help students deepen their understanding of how science works and how ideas connect.
Each session is from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm and costs $50, which includes museum admission lunch, and materials for at least one of the activities. Sessions have a 50 participant capacity each.
Check the other two classes for details on more professional development in July.
