Science Museum Oklahoma to Open Expedition: Dinosaur

Life-sized dinosaur model with dramatic spikes displayed at Science Museum Oklahoma’s Expedition Dinosaur exhibit, surrounded by plants and roped barriers with a scenic prehistoric backdrop.Science Museum Oklahoma is unveiling its newest fully interactive exhibition called Expedition: Dinosaur on October 11, 2024. The temporary exhibit features large, animatronic dinosaurs is available through January 5, 2025. Guests can expect to explore the fascinating world of dinosaur movements, sounds, and the hunt for their fossils in the early 20th Century.
Expedition: Dinosaur will feature several special exhibits:
– Dinosaur hunters’ “Bone Wars” tent
– Interactive five finger robot nest with eggs
– 14+ animatronic dinosaurs
– Futuristic dinosaur research lab with video stations
“Dinosaurs fascinate us all, whether children or adults! They are a captivating way to explore so many different areas of science including paleontology and geology. Expedition: Dinosaur immerses us into their world—from uncovering fossils to exploring the latest discoveries about them,” said Sherry Marshall, Science Museum Oklahoma President and CEO. “It’s fun adventure that sparks curiosity and inspires wonder in everyone who walks through the door.” The new exhibit has no additional cost to admission at Science Museum Oklahoma.
