Unleash Your Inner Flower Child at SMO21+ | SMOstock at Science Museum Oklahoma

On Friday, August 30, join Science Museum Oklahoma for an unforgettable evening for adults that channels the spirit of the iconic 1969 festival.

With live music, retro vibes, and far-out fun, SMO21+ | SMOstock promises to transport you to a time when bell bottoms, flower power, and timeless tunes ruled the scene. From tie dye chemistry, do-it-yourself musical instruments, exploration of mycology (mushrooms), and more, SMO 21+ | SMOstock promises to be an unforgettable night for adults.

“Adults can have free-spirited fun at Science Museum Oklahoma too!” said Science Museum Oklahoma Director of Communications Abby Wolfe. “SMOstock provides a unique blend of fun and education, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the iconic vibes of Woodstock while celebrating the curiosity and wonder of science.”

During the five SMO21+ events each year, the museum is completely open giving guests the opportunity to explore the exhibits, shows, and galleries. All guests enjoy themed activities and a cash bar with beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Pavlov’s Café will be open for guests who work up an appetite.

Those purchasing VIP tickets will have exclusive access to special activities, a free signature cocktail, discounted refills, and early access.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. VIP tickets are $35 when purchased in advance and $40 at the door. This event is expected to sell out so purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for those with VIP tickets and 7 p.m. for general admission. Ticket sales end at 7:30 p.m. No outside food or drink are permitted for adult events. There will be no re-entry for this event.

SMO21+, the museum’s adults-only, after-hours program for ages 21 and up, is a chance for adults to explore Science Museum Oklahoma without children. For more information about SMO21+ or to purchase tickets, visit http://www.sciencemuseumok.org/smo21.
