Girl Scout Badge Class Information

Cost and Registration

Private, in-person classes are available for Girl Scout troops of 5-15 participants, and booking will begin Jan. 1, 2021. These classes are $15 per Girl Scout.

All live virtual badge classes cost $10 per scout, plus the cost of materials which each scout will be responsible for providing. Supply lists will be sent via email, to the email address provided, 7 days prior to the scheduled class date, along with all necessary links and information on how to log into the class.

Registration for all live virtual badge classes closes 8 days before the classes at 5 p.m.

Badge Requirements

SMO museum educators strive to meet as many badge requirements as possible during the allotted class time. Certificates with the covered requirements will be distributed to each student.

Parents, Guardians, and Troop Leaders

For the health and safety of all Girl Scouts and museum educators, only 2 adult chaperones per class may remain with groups during in-person badge classes. Adults attending a badge class with a Girl Scout will not be charged general admission to attend the class; however, adults and Girl Scouts enjoying the museum after the class will be required to pay general admission.

Safety is our top priority, rigorous sanitation protocols and social distancing policies are followed. In keeping with Museum policy, Girl Scouts, chaperones, and staff must wear masks properly during their entire visit. For more information about the Museum’s mask policy, click here.
