KNOW A GIRL SCOUT WHO LOVES SCIENCE?
Science Museum Oklahoma is the place for Girl Scouts to explore the world of science! The museum's special Girl Scouts-only events include weekend badge classes, private badge classes, and Girl Scout Science Overnights.
GIrl Scout Badge Classes
Cost and Registration
Classes are $15 per Girl Scout for one class or $25 if registered for two classes on the same day. Online registration for Saturday Scouts closes the Wednesday prior to each badge class. In some cases, space may still be available after online registration has closed. To inquire about space and register over the phone, contact Guest Relations at (405) 602-3760. Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required to hold your Girl Scout's space.
SMO museum educators strive to meet as many badge requirements as possible during the allotted class time. Certificates with the covered requirements will be distributed to each student.
Parents, Guardians, and Troop Leaders
For the safety of all Girl Scouts, a parent, guardian, or troop leader responsible for each Girl Scout must remain at SMO for the duration of a badge class. One guardian is required for every six Girl Scouts. Adults attending a badge class with a Girl Scout are not be charged general admission to attend the class, however general admission is required for those who plan to enjoy the museum after the class has concluded when the class takes place during regular museum hours.
