Lehne George is the Geoscience Manager of the Marcellus Business Unit at Chesapeake Energy, located in Oklahoma City. She has been part of Chesapeake since 2010, where she has progressed through multiple geoscience and subsurface roles in the Haynesville, Mid-Continent, Powder River, and Appalachian Basin assets. Lehne volunteers with the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, Women's Energy Network Greater Oklahoma (WEN OK), and served on the Chesapeake Energy Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Board. She is an honoree of the Hart Energy Forty Under 40 2023 and a member of the CERAWeek Future Energy Leaders class of 2023. Recently, Lehne completed her Next Level Women’s Leadership Certificate through OSU. She earned a bachelor's degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Furman University and a master's degree in Geology from the University of Kentucky. Lehne has been married to her husband Drew for 12 years and has three children ages 10, 9, and 6.
