Whether you're looking for a way to extend learning beyond the classroom or just looking for that extra activity to make this year sizzle - a day at SMO will have everyone from toddlers to teenagers asking, "Are we there yet?"
Science Museum Oklahoma is proud to partner with Devon Energy and the Oklahoma City Thunder to bring students activities that challenge them to think outside the box and develop problem-solving skills around questions that focus on STEM principles. A new activity is added to the Devon Thunder Explorers website each month during the regular NBA season.

Due to a generous sponsorship from Dr. Elliott Schwartz and Pamela Shanklin, Science Museum Oklahoma is able to provide 100 live in-person science demonstrations to Title 1 elementary schools in rural Oklahoma. Title 1 elementary schools in metropolitan areas reaching historically underserved audiences may also be eligible for this engagement and are encouraged to inquire. These live demonstrations are focused on the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts (creativity and problem-solving), and Mathematics with the intention to inspire youth to see the relevance of career pathways in these fields and embrace curious lifelong learning. These outreach events are assembly-style presentations with volunteer engagement and audience participation.
