SMO21+ is back on June 20 with SMO21+: Out Loud, a night that celebrates individuality, identity, and the science of being you. This exclusive adults-only event invites guests to explore the science of self with hands-on activities like pheromone testing, DNA extraction, and a dating game inspired by scientist Alan Turing. Add cocktails, music, and our signature Secret Room, and you’ve got a night made for curiosity and connection. Want to elevate your night? VIP tickets include access to a private lounge, special entertainment, and a free signature cocktail.

VIP Tickets get early entry at 6:30pm; General admission at 7pm

Pheromones and Perception: Blind smell pheromones to see which you prefer.

Turing Test Dating Game: Try to determine who is human and who is AI.

Fruity DNA Extraction: Learn about DNA extraction using fruit.

DNA Block Race: Compete to fill a phosphate chain before the other team.

DNA Bracelets: Make bracelets using colored beads that represent DNA nucleotides in pairs.

DIY Identity Buttons: Make buttons to best represent you.

Costumes are encouraged! Come in what makes you feel the most like you.

And, there’s always a secret room...if you’re brave enough.

Food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase throughout the evening. No outside food or drink for this special event.

SMO21+ is your ticket to an adult night at the museum! With cocktails, music and experiments that are too advanced for the younger set, this is the perfect date night, girls night or just get-a-group-together night out!

Here's what you need to know:

All attendees must be 21+
Parties are more fun with friends. Bring a group. We're the perfect party before the party.
Dress to THRILL but proper attire is required. We are a PG-13 museum after all ;-)
There's always a Secret Room and we won't give you hints.
The signature cocktail is legendary. Buy a VIP ticket and get a free one!
Speaking of VIP, your VIP ticket grants you access to the VIP lounge with its own entertainment, a bar, and discounts on refills of that signature cocktail!
The theme is everything. Embrace it and you may be rewarded. #buttons
There is no re-entry allowed for SMO21+. Once you leave, the party's over.
There are NO refunds.
