Join us for special after-hours family night out at Science Museum Oklahoma. SMO's Late Nite Labs include unique hands-on activities, Science Live and Kirkpatrick Planetarium shows, and all of the museum's permanent exhibits.

$18 per person for museum members, $20 for nonmembers

No charge for children under age 3
All children must be accompanied by an adult. One adult for every six children in attendance, please.

Dec. 14, 2018: Science of Magic Wizards, grab your wands and prepare for a magical evening of science at SMO — this night of wizardry is not to be missed! During the Science of Magic Late Nite Lab, guests can craft chemistry concoctions, meet some almost-magical creatures, cast spells with computer programming, make and try a favorite wizard beverage, try their hands and wands at magical dueling, get slimy with troll snot, and much more. Family-friendly costumes are welcome!

6:30-9:30 p.m. Magical activity stations open
7 p.m.* Kirkpatrick Planetarium show
8 p.m.* Kirkpatrick Planetarium show

*Seating in the Kirkpatrick Planetarium is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upcoming Late Nite Labs

Feb. 8, 2019: Tinker 'Bout It - Sensory Sensitive — It's time to tinker! This Late Nite Lab will feature all the fun of the museum with a quieter environment. Learn candle making, explore animation, or just enjoy an evening exploring the museum after dark. This Late Nite Lab is ideal for families who prefer a quieter experience at the museum, however all families are welcome and the event is not exclusive to guests with sensory-sensitive needs.
