Boy Scouts with an interest in celestial science and Cub Scouts who want to explore the great indoors should look no further than Science Museum Oklahoma this fall — the museum will offer a merit badge class in astronomy at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10 and a Science Overnight for Cub Scouts at 7 p.m. Nov. 17.
Science Museum Oklahoma will host a number of fall-themed events throughout October, including spooky science, pumpkin painting and Dremel pumpkin carving, plus the final opportunity to see “Bodies Revealed.”
Bugs, bats, snakes, spiders, shadows and the science of stop-motion will take over Science Museum Oklahoma on Friday, Oct. 27 for the museum’s Supernatural Nature Science Overnight.
Oklahoma City metro residents with an interest in cave exploration can get a free, hands-on experience with the hobby from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, when CaveSim returns to Science Museum Oklahoma.
